Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in either L’Haÿ-les-Roses or Nantes.

Reporting to the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to perform structural engineering studies for offshore energy and oil & gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and apply relevant engineering codes and industry standards
• Perform analytical studies for pre-dimensioning and simulation preparation
• Create and manipulate finite element models using specialized offshore industry software
• Analyze results from simulation tools and refine structural design accordingly
• Work closely with drafting and engineering teams to ensure design integrity
• Draft high-quality, client-ready calculation reports
• Report to the project’s technical lead
• Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in coordination with the project team
• Contribute to project performance with a proactive mindset and eagerness to grow your skills within the company’s know-how

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Engineering degree (ideally from ENSTA Bretagne, ESTP, or a Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Strong command of both analytical and numerical calculations
• Experience with offshore structure modeling tools (e.g., SACS, ANSYS, ABAQUS, STAAD Pro)
• Fluent in English—working in an international context is a key part of the role

Soft Skills

• Collaborative mindset and good communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and team spirit
• Interest in the maritime field and its environment is a plus
