Mareal

Sustainable Offshore Structures for Tomorrow

About Mareal

Mareal is a specialized offshore engineering company conducting studies from conceptual design to execution and construction drawings for the oil & gas and marine renewable energy sectors. Our team of 25 engineers and designers operates from offices in L’Haÿ-les-Roses and Nantes.

We are proud to be part of the STAPEM Group, which allows us to offer turnkey solutions and operate on an international scale. With strong roots in conventional energy, Mareal has evolved into a key player and innovation driver in offshore renewables. In 2024, this sector represented 75% of our revenue—a clear reflection of our strong commitment to energy transition.

We excel in the design of offshore steel and reinforced concrete structures, with a solid track record in offshore wind. Our approach is rooted in technical excellence and rigorous project management, enhanced by internal expertise and strategic partnerships—both within STAPEM and externally—expanding our service capabilities.

Mareal has designed and continues to develop the XCF, a floating foundation concept for wind turbines capable of supporting 20+ MW units.
